Category 6 Aerial Cable [UC-CABA6]
Description
UNICOM’s CABA6 is ideal for your outdoor voice, data, video and security aerial networking applications when pathways like
duct, trunk or riser is not possible. Whether you are wiring your home, office or entire campus, we have the network solution
that is right for you.
This Self-Support cable is the perfect fit for installations where the cable will be supported by posts or poles. This cable’s 8
conductors are solid bare copper with a high density polyethylene (HDPE) insulation and a black polyethylene (PE) Sunlight
UV resistant jacket. This cable also includes a shielding which helps eliminate and protect against electrical interferences
that could impede your signal. Figure-8 design with a stranded steel messenger provides high reliability and stability in wind
& harsh environment. The steel messenger wire helps to eliminate drooping and sagging when the cable is pulled tight.
With guaranteed performance that meets Category 6 cable requirements, UNICOM CABA6 allows for simplified aerial
communications.

Category 6 Outdoor Patch Cord [UC-CRD6-O]
Description
UNICOM’s Category 6 IP67 Shielded Patch Cord is for the transmission of Ethernet protocols in harsh industrial environments. UNICOM provides an offering of connectivity products designed to meet the environmental challenges of industrial / Outdoor / harsh environments as well as meeting EIA/TIA 568-C.2 standard requirements. What is IP67? IP stands for International Protection, the ability to withstand the influence of external environmental influences. The IP number is composed of 2 digits. The first digit refers to protection against solid objects (dust is an example). The larger this number is, the smaller the particle of matter has to be to penetrate the protection. A number 6 indicates “total protection against dust.” The second digit describes the protection level against liquids. A number 7 indicates “protected against the effects of immersion between 15 cm and 1 meter.” An IP67 rating is an optimum rating for a factory environment where exposure to dirt, dust, other particulate, splash & wash downs is likely. Patch cords are now recognized as the most critical element of any high performance cabling system. Due to the overall copper braid, the patch cables have an excellent shield performance and are highly flexible. The Gasket seal covers that are permanently attached to the casings prevent water, dust, dirt and other contaminants from entering the RJ45 Plug when unmated. Coupling ring fitted to industrial outdoor jack properly to have an end-to-end IP67 connection. The UV resistant, Oil resistant PE jacket of cable makes it the best choice for industrial solutions.
